Chore Cards to the rescue!!
We are working hard to get life a bit more organized and efficient. I have been meaning to get chore cards made for a long time, but just never got around to it...until now!
I got the idea from the Maxewells Choreganizers. I decided to take that idea in conjunction with Motivated Moms free planner and the pocket chart I saw at Tip Junkie. Basically, I decided it best to mingle the ideas together to develop (hopefully) the "perfect" system for us. Below you will see what we've come up with! Thanks to Emily for sewing our chore pockets!
You gotta love Word. You'd think the free chore cards that I could found on line would be fine...but I found that they are very limited and didn't completely meet all of our needs. I wanted 3 1/2 x 5 size chore card. The ones I found for free were smaller dimensions. SO...I made my own! Please feel free to print and laminate these for yourselves. I realize that my custom cards may not meet all of your needs either, so here is how I did it, so you can customize some cards for yourself:
1) Go into WORD.
2) Click on the "Office Button" in the top left corner.
3) Click on "New".
4) On the left side, you can select templates. Click on "Cards".
5) Then click on "Note Cards"
6) Scroll down and click and download the one that says "Notecard Template".
7) If you go to the "Insert" tab, click on "Clip Art". That is where you can find all kinds of cute artwork for your own custom cards.
Or...you can go to my word file page here.
Under construction; more coming..stay tuned!!
